Here are sites I use with great success with students in the elementary school setting and with Kid College at our local comunity college. School age enjoy experimenting with mark-up and programming languages such as HTML, CSS and Java Script. Kids can code and and they enjoy it. Its empowering and creative. Code is a thing just like math and science. Coding is fun and creative.
Even if someone doesn't plan on becoming a webmaster or software developer it's still good to have an idea of what makes our digital lives and devices tick!
